Improve my Spanish fast
A few weeks ago I found myself in a situation that made me realize I really needed to improve my Spanish fast. I was visiting a friend in a city where most of the people speak Spanish and we went to a local market. I thought I could manage with gestures and a few words I knew, but when I tried to ask about prices and sizes, I completely froze. People were patient, but I felt embarrassed because I couldn’t form a full sentence.

It also repeats vocabulary in different contexts, which really helps retention. One of the biggest challenges for me was practicing speaking because I wasn’t confident talking to anyone yet. That’s why I started using an AI tool to practice forming sentences and holding mini-conversations. Sometimes when I want to test myself I use this Spanish tutor and it helps a lot because you can make mistakes and nobody judges you. I combine the lessons with repeating phrases out loud and listening to Spanish podcasts or short videos. That way, I hear the words in context, and it sticks better in my memory. I’ve also found that doing just ten to fifteen minutes a day consistently works better than long sessions once in a while.
