Centralizing Actuator Control in One Control Unit

While upgrading a linear actuator setup, I started noticing that control complexity increases faster than expected. Initially, everything worked with simple switches, but once additional actuators were added, coordination became harder. I needed a way to manage multiple movements without running separate controls for each one. Another concern was keeping wiring organized and accessible for future changes. I also wanted the system to remain easy to use for anyone who interacts with it, not just the person who built it. Some solutions seem flexible at first but become limiting over time. Because of this, I began looking more closely at centralized control approaches. I am curious how others simplify control when systems start to grow.

I had a similar situation and found that using a single control hub made things much clearer. When looking at https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-eu/collections/control-systems control boxes, I noticed that these units are designed to connect actuators, switches, and remotes in one place. This makes it easier to manage synchronized movement and reduce cable clutter. The page also shows different options depending on how many actuators need to be controlled. I found it helpful that many boxes support plug-and-play connections, which simplifies installation. Having centralized control also made future expansion easier to plan. Overall, it brought more structure to the system.
